NAATIUrdu

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the questions we hear most from candidates practicing on NAATIUrdu.

How is my audio handled?

When you record a segment, your microphone audio is uploaded straight to our API — never directly from your browser to a third party. From there, it may be processed by third-party transcription providers used by NAATIUrdu, and separately analyzed for pauses, hesitations, and timing. That transcript and recording are what get scored.

Recordings are kept for up to 30 days so you can play them back in your reports, then they're deleted. You can edit the auto-generated transcript before submitting a segment if it misheard something, and re-recording a segment replaces the previous attempt rather than keeping both.

Why doesn't my camera record anything?

It's not supposed to. The webcam preview during practice exists purely to mimic the real NAATI CCL test environment, where a camera is present in the room — it's there to help you get used to that setup, not to capture anything.

NAATIUrdu never records, uploads, or stores webcam video. Only your microphone audio is used for scoring — your camera feed never leaves your device.

How accurate is the AI scoring?

Our AI scoring is approximately ±5% accurate. It's a strong guide for tracking progress and spotting recurring issues, but it can't detect things like hesitation, voice confidence, or delivery fluency the way a real NAATI examiner would — so treat your score as practice feedback, not a prediction of your actual CCL result.

The scoring model itself is our own — built by NAATIUrdu and informed by publicly available NAATI CCL marking guidance, not licensed or provided by NAATI. It follows the same general shape as the real exam (accuracy, language quality, delivery, plus repeat/pause/time penalties) so practice here translates to the real test, but it is an independent implementation, not an official one.

Can I get a refund?

No — NAATIUrdu does not offer refunds for change of mind, unused time, unused scoring quota, or cancelling partway through a billing period. Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals, but the current paid period runs to its end rather than being refunded.

See our Terms and Conditions for the full policy. Nothing here limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer law.
